Privacy Policy

Olly ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered learning platform available at askolly.live, operated by Orion League, India. You can reach us at info@orionleague.in.

• Account data: email address and display name when you sign up via email or Google OAuth.
• Learning data: topic names and session messages you enter while using Olly. This is necessary to deliver the service.
• Payment data: when you purchase Interview Prep, the Olly AI Interviewer, or a 6-month full access pass, Razorpay processes your payment. We store only a payment ID and status — we never see or store your card or UPI details. Olly Learn and Olly Flashcards are free and require no payment.
• Usage analytics: we use PostHog to collect anonymised product events (e.g. stage started, stage completed). PostHog does not collect your learning content.
• Device data: browser type, OS, IP address — collected automatically as part of standard web server logs and analytics.

• To provide and improve the Olly learning experience.
• To authenticate your account and maintain session state.
• To process payments and issue credentials.
• To analyse product usage and improve features (anonymised).
• To contact you about your account if needed (we do not send marketing email without consent).

Your account and learning data is stored on Supabase (infrastructure hosted on AWS). Payment records are stored in the same database. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. We do not sell your data to third parties.

• Hugging Face — AI inference. Your learning messages are sent to this service to generate responses. Message history is stored in your Olly account so you can resume sessions.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.

We use two categories of cookies:

• Essential cookies (Supabase session token) — required to keep you signed in and let Olly function. These cannot be disabled.
• Analytics cookies (PostHog) — optional, used to understand anonymised product usage. These are off by default and only activate if you accept them via the cookie banner shown on your first visit.

You can change your choice at any time below, or by clearing your browser's site data for askolly.live.

Olly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy. If the changes are material, we will update the effective date at the top. Continued use of Olly after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
